On Tuesday, Glossy Pop hosted its first-ever Beauty Pop event, in Los Angeles. The day-long event was an opportunity for brand leaders and influencers to come together for a collaborative day of meetings, intimate discussions, inspiring panels and networking.
With social media remaining one of the most powerful marketing tools, this event also highlighted the beauty and wellness brands that are getting it right across platforms. On TikTok, in particular, beauty and wellness are some of the most popular categories: #beauty has 204.8 billion views on the platform, while #wellness has 12.8 billion. In fact, earlier this year, Glossy reported how the social media platform catapulted the male beauty market.
Sol de Janeiro and K18 are two beauty brands with high-quality products and engaging brand messaging that have been able to translate social virality into sales. Other consumer favorites include Olaplex, NuFace, Meridian and Liquid I.V., all of which will be spotlighted during the Beauty Pop event.
