As a stylist, Shiona Turini has worked with some of the most influential women in pop culture. She styled actress Leticia Wright for the press tour for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” styled the HBO show “Insecure,” and dressed musicians from Megan Thee Stallion to Solange.
But her greatest achievement has been styling Beyoncé. Turini has worked with Beyoncé since the singer’s “Formation” video in 2016. In 2023, her crowning achievement was styling Beyoncé throughout her Renaissance Tour, including her onstage costumes and offstage looks. That included a custom-designed Versace look worn to the premiere of “Renaissance – A Film by Beyoncé” in November, a flowing blue Vera Wang dress worn during a show and a showstopping Loewe outfit worn for the final performance of the tour. The tour sold more than 2.7 million tickets and brought in more than $500 million in revenue.
Styling Beyoncé is among the most coveted jobs a stylist could ask for. It also makes one a powerful tastemaker — Turini herself has more than 400,000 followers on Instagram. The influence extended to the outfits fans wore to the tour, including heaps of metallic silver inspired by Turini’s styling choices for the stage.
