Aimee Song was among the first generation of influencers, having started her blog, Song of Style, in 2008. She was one of the first fashion bloggers to be invited to fashion week and work with brands. Song now has a community of millions of followers, many of whom have followed her from humble beginnings to mom life. She has become known for her knacks for marrying high- and low-end fashions, and bringing her West Coast energy to designer looks. In 2019, Song launched the Song of Style fashion brand with Revolve — to this day, the brand remains a Revolve exclusive. The collection offers a variety of styles, including silk dresses, blazers, high heels and matching sets.
Why did you decide to bring a brand into this crowded marketplace?
Having been in the fashion industry for over 10 years, I’ve had the chance to do a few meaningful design collaborations that were very successful from sunglasses (Gentle Monster) to shoes (Schutz). I started my own graphic t-shirt company years ago where every shirt I designed had sold out so doing a bigger collection was something I’ve always wanted to do, especially with pieces that I want to live in and feel great in.
What makes the brand different?

What makes Song of Style different is our own unique point of view. It sounds cliche, but my focus from the beginning has always been to make a refined and designer aesthetic accessible and wearable for everyone. With Song of Style, every piece is something that is wearable and comfortable no matter where you live, but has a level of refinement and polish unlike many wearable brands right now.
Best seller: The Mara set has been a bestseller for the past 3 years and continues to sell out every time we restock them. The fun Gelato heels are also a best seller.
