The annual Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 through October 15, is meant to uplift and celebrate Latinx and Hispanic heritage communities and their respective cultures, which have made significant strides in the U.S. Latinx founders are currently opening more businesses in the U.S. than any other minority group. In fact, Latinx-owned businesses now account for nearly 4% of U.S. business revenue, according to the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiatives. Founders within a myriad of industries, including wellness, are achieving success.
Similar to other underrepresented cultures, Latinx cultural practices, ingredients and products date back centuries. And many of the remedies and routines are rooted in herbs and plants proven to heal certain ailments. As such, Latinx wellness founders often use these natural ingredients in their products. Shop below to try them while also supporting a Latinx founder and elevating your self-care routine.
