As a teen, Jessi Malay was a recording artist in a girl band called No Secrets, which was signed with Jive Records. Then, she went solo via a Warner Bros Records deal. In 2013, Malay started a blog to share her love of fashion and beauty. She recently transitioned her focus to family and home content, following the births of her two girls. In 2021, Malay launched her own candle line, Haven Namai, in hopes of bringing warmth to people during the pandemic. Each candle is hand-poured in L.A. and made of 100% soy and coconut wax.

Why did you decide to bring a brand into this crowded marketplace?
During the pandemic, I became even more obsessed with my home and creating an environment that would be a little sanctuary, a safe haven for my family. I wanted the ability to do the same for others and I decided to do that through creating really high quality candles, hand poured and made of pure soy and coconut wax for a clean burn, with familiar scents reminiscent of times of comfort or celebration. I’ve always been passionate about candles and their ability to create an ambience, a sense of calm, and so… Haven Namai was born.

Unique tonal vessels, hand crafted and painted in a beautiful neutral gradient.
Fun fact:
Namai means Home in Lithuanian, and it’s my way of honoring my grandmother who was originally from Lithuania. She was incredibly gifted and entrepreneurial and owned her own small home decor business.
