2021 has been a big year for Natalia Bryant.
In February, the daughter of Vanessa Bryant and the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant signed with IMG Models at just 18 years old. Since then, she’s entered the public eye in a big way with appearances on both the Met Gala red carpet and the cover of Teen Vogue.
“Modeling has given me the opportunity to focus more on fashion, which has always been a passion of mine,” said Bryant.
Now a freshman at USC, Bryant is pursuing modeling while simultaneously majoring in film. She also has a big fanbase to keep up with — 2.7 million Instagram followers, to be exact.

Her own favorite celeb to follow for fashion inspiration is model Hailey Bieber. “I love her style and the way she accessorizes,” Bryant said. And the main designer on her radar right now? Simone Porte of Jacquemus.
Bryant’s modeling career has shown promise right off the bat. Her September Teen Vogue appearance managed to merge both high-fashion looks and her personal aesthetic.
“I fell in love [it] the minute I saw it,” said Bryant of her cover look, where she wore a Kingsley cardigan, an Aisling Camps turtleneck and Panconesi earrings. ”It portrayed the most accurate representation of my style and was very true to who I am.”

The Met Gala appearance was also a first for her, where she wore a show-stopping ’60s-style floral dress by Conner Ives made out of recycled plastic. But her go-to style is much more casual.
“The biggest thing for me is comfort,” she said. “I would say that my favorite item of clothing is jeans, because I love how versatile they are. I can always dress them up or make the outfit super casual. That’s really important to me.”
